This US shoulder belt plate was affixed to the front of the shoulder belt for the infantry cartridge box. It features the spread-winged eagle design. Brass face has a beautiful dark brown patina. Complete, but minimal, lead fill on reverse with both iron loops.
In excellent “dug” condition. Recovered near Orange, Virginia. [jet] [ph:L]
