Image is a chest-up view of an unidentified subject sporting a long dark beard and wearing a light-colored frock coat buttoned only at the collar. Just visible below his beard is a line of dark piping running around the base of his collar. Also, just visible below coat is a matching vest.
Contrast and clarity is excellent. Mount is good however the paper does have scattered spots of discoloration, none of which touches the subject.
Reverse has no photographer’s imprint and only some collector information in pencil at bottom. [ad] [ph:L]
