This wartime-dated but early view of John Hunt Morgan features a bust profile of him from his time as a US Lieutenant during the Mexican War or Militia Captain prior to the Civil War.  Image is mounted to a common card with fine gilt border patterning and both are in excellent condition.

An E. Anthony label at bottom reads “COL. JOHN H. MORGAN / The Marion of the South”, positioned directly above Anthony’s commercial text and an 1862 copyright date.  The reverse is blank and clean, save for minimal penciled notations.
