Very nice clean CDV of Lee in Confederate uniform. His jacket has a turned down collar with his insignia of rank.
Contrast and clarity are outstanding. Paper and mount are excellent. The only drawback is a very small white speck in the paper just to the left of the general’s face.
Reverse is blank but for collector information in pencil.
From the collection of the late William A. Turner.
Very nice image from life of one of the country’s most famous generals. [AD] [ph:L]
