Image shows Bryant with a long flowing white beard in a light suit.
Clarity and contrast are good. Paper and mount have light surface dirt. Mount corners are clipped. Under image is a faint old pencil ID that reads W. C. Bryant.
Reverse is blank but does have a printed ID “W. C. BRYANT.”
Bryant was a well-known American romantic poet, journalist, and long-time editor of the New York Evening Post. [AD] [ph:L]
