Brown leather sling in overall very good condition. Strap is approx. 2.00 inches wide at center and tapers as it moves toward each end where it is only 1.25 inches wide.
Each end has a brass hook for adjusting to size using one of the five adjustment holes. Once the strap is fitted, each end forms a loop that holds a heavy brass hook for attaching to the Pattern 1898 haversack.
There are no visible markings. Leather surface has minor crazing. Both sliding leather keepers are present. [AD]
