High quality Civil War-era officer’s sword belt buckle. Cast brass eagle buckle with 1/2” wide, sheet brass hook applied on back. The buckle is still nicely curved and only shows minor wear. Well finished and highly detailed. Wreath and stars have remnants of silver wash. Eagle plate only, no keeper. Very attractive. [jet][ph:L]
