Set consists of two items: mounted Jennie Wade postcard and watch fob. Postcard is marked “Jennie Wade House and Monument, Gettysburg, PA." and is mounted on a piece of plywood meas. approx. 5” x 7”. Surface appears shellacked. No markings on back. Pewter watch fob meas. 1.5” in diameter. Engraved around the edge reads “Jennie Wade House/Gettysburg, PA.” The center depicts an engraving of Jennie Wade’s house. At the top of the fob there is a small handle where the watch would attach to. No markings are present on the reverse. The souvenir set dates around the 1940’s when most of these types of souvenirs were seen. [ws] [ph:L]
