This wartime Walther PP in .32 Automatic Colt Pistol shows some finish wear but maintains an excellent mechanical condition. Matching serial number “297794P” is stamped on the slide and frame, dating the year of manufacture to 1944.  Proof marks/stamps are noted on the barrel, slide, and left face of the frame behind the trigger guard.  Subtle milling marks are visible across the bulk of the pistol - a holdover from the urgency of production.

Pistol is complete.  Takedown shows minimal internal wear, and the .32, 3.9” barrel exhibits a bright bore with a smooth surface deep rifling. Mechanics work perfectly, including de-cocker; recoil spring; magazine release; da/sa trigger; and lock back with accompanying magazines.  Sights are the original dual prong rear post with plain front blade. Slide is stamped on left flat with Walther patent and model specifications roll mark.  The finish has given to a shade of gray with remnants of the original bluing.  The original bakelite grips show very minor scratching but are in good condition. Pistol comes with two modern, Italian-made steel magazines in like-new condition.
