This is very small powder flask, possibly of European manufacture and perhaps made on contract for an American retailer, intended for a pocket revolver or small single shot pistol. Measures approximately 3.5” long x 1.5” at widest point.

The plain copper body exhibits some dark staining on one side but overall retains an attractive patina. The collar and spout are brass. The thumb tab and spring are present but do not move.

Given how popular small pocket pistols were, these small flasks can be surprisingly difficult to find.  [jet] [ph:L]
