A very nice Confederate $1, T-55 note. Portrait depicts Clement C. Clay, Confederate senator from Alabama at top center. Bold ONE on the left and right edge.
Dated December 2, 1862. Serial number 17094 done by hand in brown ink. First series. Printing is dark with very good contrast. Fully framed image. No folds, tears, with only a few pinholes.
